Kayak Adventures - Guided Waterfall Adventure
Please note the waterfall may dry up during periods of little to no rain. In the meantime this tour will, when the tide allows, stop for a small hike before going further up the river past the Fern Grotto to a waterhole for swimming and to have lunch there.

This incredible Kayak Adventures Waterfall Tour starts with a 4 mile paddle down the tropical Wailua River. While you’re taking part in Kauai Kayaking, you’ll be able to check out gorgeous sights and fascinating places. During this Kauai Tour, you’ll paddle past the Kamokila Hawaiian Village which was one of the filming locations for the motion picture “Outbreak.”
A 2 mile hike follows where you’ll be able to trek through the scenic and sacred rainforest that was once reserved for only Hawaiian Royalty. Your tour guide will lead you to see ancient Hawaiian sights and will show you the various flora and fauna that populates the area through which you are hiking.
During the Kayak Adventures Waterfall Tour, you will be able to learn about the history of the Wailua Valley and also be able to check out various filming locations where motion pictures such as “Jurassic Park,” “Six Days/Seven Nights,” and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” were filmed. The conclusion of this Kauai Kayaking adventure occurs when you take a short hike to the gorgeous 125-foot Uluwehi Falls that’s commonly called the Secret Falls. Here you’ll be able to take limitless photos, swim, play under the waterfalls, and enjoy a delicious lunch.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH:
South on Hwy 56 through Kapa'a town. Go through 4 traffic lights. Turn left into Coconut Marketplace parking lot. Look for the huge tower. We are located in the kiosk underneath.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH
Take Hwy 50 through Lihue. Turn left onto Hwy 56 north towards Wailua/Kapaa. Cross Wailua River bridge (double bridge), go through two traffic lights. Turn right into Coconut Marketplace and parking lot. Look for the huge tower. We are located in the kiosk underneath.

- These Kauai Tours consist of approximately 4 miles of easy paddling and 1.5 miles of hiking.
- Restrictions:
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
Participants must be at least 5 years old.
Tour consists of 4 miles of paddling and 2 miles of hiking roundtrip.
- Special Notes:
- Cold filtered water is available to fill any reusable container on site at check-in. Small day coolers will be provided for each family to pack a lunch and carry their supplies throughout the day. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase. All participants are strongly encouraged to bring a light lunch as the tour lasts up to 6 hours.
